Mario F. Lawi: Oceans

Oceans – Mario F. Lawi

Having freed himself from the handcuff
The air raised it
He curled up in the cold
In the upper left corner of the sky room.

Ambulance siren, shattered beach froth, and tiktok from
a pair of pendulum in the window alternately
crashing his head when the sea
slowly thrust
water steps to reach out
space outside him.

Also heard, besides all,
a squeaky soprano
the woman who threw Kyrie and return fragrance.

He is not a lost child.
He never
Choose everywhere.

There was no blanket, however, that stretched out
from two fallen sky ties
afficted him.

A childhood memory called him
to be a drop of water that melts
self to the sea.

He wanted to feel for a moment,
something once was precious
inside him.
